Christa Fiori

Hello Everyone! My name is Christa Fiori and I am currently a senior at California State Polytechnic University Pomona. I am currently working towards my Bachelor's of Science Degree in Apparel Merchandising and Management with an emphasis on retail. So far while attending Cal Poly Pomona, I have done volunteer work for different events on the weekends such as Open Houses, or our Bridal Gown Sale that we have once a month.

 

A little background on me first, I am originally from Northern California in the Wine Country region. I enjoy spending time with my family whether it is on a vacation or at home. I also enjoy spending time with my friends having coffee, shopping, staying fit or just having fun. Growing up in a small town allowed me the opportunity to stay close to my family and the freedom to run all over town. It also caused me to appreciate the little things in life now that I live in a bigger city.

 

My career experience has been mainly in retail over the years which has equipped me with positive customer service skills. Having customer service skills is beneficial in any job path since one will always be working with a customer whether it is face to face or via social media of some sort. Having the opportunity to work with customers reguarly has caused me to grow in my personal skills such as communication, confidence, and efficient work method.
